Hall of the Tower

The Hall of the Tower is the central council of the Aes Sedai. It is comprised of three Sitters from each Ajah as well as the Amyrlin Seat and Keeper of the Chronicles. All official policy is made here.

The Tower was split when Siuan Sanche's actions regarding the Dragon Reborn came to light and Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan was raised to the Amyrlin Seat in her place. Approximately 300 Aes Sedai left Tar Valon and formed a rebel Tower at Salidar.

Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan is the Amyrlin Seat; Alviarin is her Keeper of the Chronicles.

Members of the Hall are: Pevara, Duhara and Javindhra Doraille (Red Ajah); Doesine, Suana Dragand and Sedore (Yellow Ajah); Seaine Herimon, Ferane Neheran and Velina (White Ajah); Saerin Asnobar, Juilaine Madome and Shevan (Brown Ajah); Talene Minly, Rina and Rubinde (Green Ajah); and Yukiri, Andaya Forae and Evanellein (Gray Ajah).

[edit] Possible conspiracy

Over time, various characters (notably Siuan Sanche and, at the Tower, Seaine) have become aware of irregularities in the choice of Sitters, both in the Tower and at the rebel Salidar Hall; various women have been privately identified as being either "too young" for the role, or simply an "unusual" choice.

Of the Sitters at the Tower, Suana, Ferane, Juilaine, Rina and Andaya Forae have been identified as being an unusual choice for their role.

It is yet to be revealed what this conspiracy may be attempting to achieve.
