Hundred Companions

The Hundred Companions were a group of 113 young male Aes Sedai from the Age of Legends who were very vocal supporters of Lews Therin Telamon's plan of attacking the Bore directly and sealing the Dark One in his prison. This group along with Lews Therin and ten thousand warmen (considered no more than a security escort) attacked Shayol Ghul directly and sealed the Dark One's prison, anchoring the barrier with seven seals of cuendillar.
The Dark One's counterstroke, however, killed all but 68 of the Companions and rendered the survivors instantly mad. During the following years, they and all other male Aes Sedai took part in the Breaking of the World, using the Power to reshape it.
