Fitch

Master Fitch is the innkeeper of the Stag and Lion in Baerlon.

Fitch is rotund, good-natured man who thinks very highly of "Mistress Alys" and "Master Andra", finding them and the Emond's Fielders rooms inn his crowded in and seeing that they are refreshed and well-fed.

After a Fade attacks Rand at night, necessitating their departure from the inn, Lan and Moiraine urge Fitch to be open with potential troublemakers and clearly show his disassociation with their party, but he stubbornly insists on protecting their privacy and honour. His principles lead to his inn being torched, presumably by the Whitecloaks rife in Baerlon at the time. Moiraine later organises compensation so that he might rebuild.
