[edit] Outlanders

[edit] Trade

Outlanders may only trade at three different markets. They are called the Strangers markets and are named the Nethvin, Amhara, and Avharin markets, after three important women in Far Madding's history.

[edit] Weapons

While it is legal to carry a weapon in Far Madding, it must be "peace bonded". In this the sword is wrapped in wire so that the weapon cannot be drawn. Most people simply prefer to leave it at the gate that where they enter, though this means that they have to leave by the same gate to get the weapon back.

[edit] Guardian

This is a ter'angreal that sits in the Hall of Council's chambers. It is made of three discs which create an area around the city that cuts off channelers from the True Source. However, wells can be used. Men are cut off about a mile around the city and women at the city limits. The third disc creates an even larger area that allows channelers to be tracked.

[edit] Governments

Only women may be part of any local governments. There are thirteen councils and the first is the "First among equals".
